RuleWatch: know when your state changes a licensing or insurance rule
Licensing boards, workers'-comp agencies and statute portals edit their pages quietly — a bond amount, a coverage threshold, a classification, a filing rule — and contractors find out at renewal time. RuleWatch compares watched official pages when a check runs, throws away the noise (timestamps, counters, session junk), and records a change only when the page's text changed, showing the before and after passages verbatim. It never tells you what the change means.

Every page was verified machine-fetchable before it was listed; last check 2026-09-06. A source we cannot fetch unattended is listed as excluded, not as watched.
How it works
1. Fetch. During a check, each watched page is downloaded from the board's or agency's own site.
2. Filter the noise. Page text is normalized and volatile tokens — dates, clock times, session tokens — are masked, so a page that only re-stamped its footer never wakes anyone up.
3. Show the text, not an opinion. If the remaining text changed, you get the exact before/after passages and a confidence grade whose reasons are stated (a dollar amount changed; the edit touches words like “require”, “bond”, “fee”). What the change means for your licence is a question for the board.
